A chance, I read "Live" written by Yu Hua. This book is about a rich young master called Fu Gui. At first his father died in anger when he gambled all his family property into a poor man with nothing. Then he was captured by the Kuomintang as a strong man. However, hismother died of illness; then his son Youqing was bled to death, and the daughter Fengxia failed after childbirth.

He died of blood disease, and his wife's family suffered from rickets. His son-in-law Er Xi died of work-related injuries. His grandson kugen was killed by eating beans. Finally, there is only the story of old FuGui and a cow. This story spans China from the Kuomintang to Mao’s early period. It tells of the broad and rich tears. After reading this ordinary story,  Ifelt very sad.

There is no despair.

Yu Hua wrote in the preface that "to live" is full of power in our Chinese language. Its power does not come from shouting or attacking, but from enduring the responsibility given by life and enduring what the reality gives us happiness and suffering, boredom and mediocrity.

Life, really needs courage and perseverance, and needs to know how to continue with nature. Life is not a fairy tale. It makes us experience all kinds of joys and sorrows in reality, even only grief and anger. However, as long as we are alive, we should open our eyes as scheduled to meet the rising sun, and to live, we should breathe everything in the air. As long as you are alive, do the things you like and never give up!
